Ariana Grande and James Corden tease forthcoming Carpool Karaoke

It’s no secret that Carpool Karaoke is our favourite segment on The Late Late Show with James Corden. From Adele to Justin Bieber, over the years James has managed to rope in the world’s biggest artists to help him get to work whilst belting out their best hits.

One artist we’ve been desperate to see in the hot seat is Ariana Grande. After her stunning performance with Seth MacFarlane on Apple Music’s Carpool Karaoke: The Series last year, we’ve been patiently waiting for her to join James for a full on road trip.

It seems that our wish is finally about to come true, as Ariana and James have been busy teasing their Carpool Karaoke on Twitter.

Earlier today (August 7), James tweeted a picture of ‘No Tears Left To Cry’ and ‘God is a woman’ lyrics, with the caption “learning these”.

As expected, his tweet sent Ari’s fans into a frenzy, and it wasn’t long before the Dangerous Woman herself got in on the teasing action. Quote tweeting James’ post, she questioned “sick what for”.

With the Carpool Karaoke pretty much a done deal, within the past hour both Ariana and James have confirmed that they wrapped up the filming earlier today. It seems that it’s going to be a crazy Carpool Karaoke, as Ariana managed to injure her hand. When asked by a fan what had happened, she tweeted “you’ll see ……….. it’s so …… stupid.”

James added that Ariana’s Carpool Karaoke might be one of his “favourite ever” and that Ari “is the real deal.” We’re already bursting with excitement!

There’s no word on when Ariana Grande’s Carpool Karaoke will air, however, we imagine that it will debut around the release of her fourth studio album Sweetener, which drops on August 17.
